Role OverviewThe Clinical Application Specialist will support the growth of the PSS and GSS portfolios across French-speaking African markets and selected North African countries.This role has been established by senior management to strengthen clinical engagement, enhance product knowledge, and ensure successful implementation of Baxter solutions in collaboration with healthcare professionals and internal teams.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Engagement• Collaborate with healthcare professionals—particularly nurses—to demonstrate clinical benefits, best practices, and key features of PSS and GSS products.Product Demonstrations• Conduct on-site product demonstrations and training sessions to ensure effective and confident product usage by end users.Educational Activities• Organize and deliver webinars, workshops, and seminars to provide in-depth product knowledge and clinical insights.Distribution Support• Work closely with distribution partners to support their daily operations and assist in resolving clinical inquiries from healthcare organizations.Feedback Collection• Gather and relay feedback from end users to support product development, marketing activities, and sales initiatives.Market Awareness• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and clinical practices to effectively position Baxter products and identify new opportunities.Sales Collaboration• Partner with sales teams to identify opportunities for product introduction and support the implementation of sales strategies.Documentation & Reporting• Maintain accurate, organized records of clinical interactions, product usage feedback, and field activities to ensure ongoing improvement and smooth communication across teams.If you believe your experience and clinical expertise align with this role, we encourage you to apply and join our mission to advance patient care across the region. The Opportunity:.JOB SUMMARY:We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Chromatography Technical Quotation Specialist with fluency in English to join our dynamic team. This role bridges the gap between technical expertise and commercial operations, ensuring accurate and timely quotations for chromatography instruments, consumables, and services. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid background in analytical chemistry, and the ability to support clients across global markets.MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance)Prepare and manage technical quotations for chromatography workflow products portfolio (U/HPLC GC, AAA, Spectrophotometers, HPLC/GC Columns, Vials, syringe filters, safety caps etc.)Collaborate with sales, product management, and internal teams to configure solutions based on customer requirementsInterpret technical specifications and translate them into accurate commercial proposalsCommunicate effectively with clients to clarify needs and provide supportMaintain quotation records and ensure compliance with pricing policies and commercial termsProvide pre-sales technical support and respond to client inquiriesStay updated on product developments, pricing changes, and market trendsResponsible for reaching specific targets set for the role and/or for lead generation projects.QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field2+ years of experience in chromatography or technical quotation rolesProficiency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plusFamiliarity with chromatography instruments from vendors such as Agilent, Waters, Shimadzu, etc.Experience with CRM and ERP systems (e.g., C4C, SAP)Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsPREFERRED SKILLS:French and Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
