Hybrid & Electric Vehicle Battery Management System Engineer
Responsibilities:
Understand electrical architecture of HEV/EV
Define HEV/EV Battery Management System architecture
Conceptualization, Design and Development of x EV Lithium-Ion Battery Pack Controls
Requirement engineering of BMS with Fu Sa compliance
BMS Function architecture & control algorithm creation such as SOC, SOH, cell balancing, life optimization, safety controls, cell characterization, energy management, thermal management
Work with x EV system team to identify the BMS electrical interfaces, calibration and testing team to generate battery system DVP
ISO 26262 compliance for BMS, DFMEA
Adopt model-based design approach in BMS
BMS Controls Software Verification and Validation
Coordination with other design departments suppliers & related agencies for design and development activities
