About the Role
Travis Perkins Group PLC have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Service Engineer working for BSS. The main responsibilities of this role are to service, maintain and repair a range of electrical, petrol and diesel drive equipment within the hire fleet, whilst ensuring standards of equipment in the hire fleet are of the highest quality at all times, always within company policies.The role we’re recruiting for will:Log and inspect returns that are available to Company standards. Diagnose repairs and identify parts to be ordered. Fleet up new stock ready for branch utilisation following product group processes. Ensure that all Branch orders are dealt with in a timely and professional manner. Liaise with the Workshop Supervisor on all service and repair issues which will improve performance and company utilisation targets. Strive to achieve a high standard of repair at minimum cost whilst keeping the equipment in a safe condition.
