Job Description
- The Wok Chef is responsible for prepping ingredients, preparing, cooking, and plating menu items in accordance with the restaurant's recipes and specifications. The Wok Chef keeps their work area clean, organized, and stocked, throughout shift.
- Support Wok section in Kitchen Operations and food preparation
- Follow recipes and/or product directions for preparing and wok-cooking all specified menu items
- Work with a sense of urgency to meet time goals while adhering to recipe standards
- Display attention to detail and food presentations
- Perform basic math and measurement calculations associated with recipes
- Maintain quality control for all products, including monitoring freshness of product
- Follow excellent food safety and sanitation practices and comply with HACCP standards
- Guide and train the Wok and Cutter team
