Wiring Technician

Job Description:

• Performs wiring activities for items with metering and controls.
• Inspects electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Tests electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
• Coordinates with other sections regarding issues and concerns.
• Performs servicing activities as assigned by Production Supervisor.
• Assists other sections as instructed by Production Supervisor.
• Adheres to safety policy as indicated in the employee hand book and ensures compliance of all team members.
• Ensures that the working area is clean and tidy after duty operations.
• Performs other relevant duties that may be assigned from time to time.
