Job Summary:
Seeking a Wire Harness Design Engineer with hands-on experience in electrical harness design for heavy/off-highway or automotive systems. The role involves design, routing, drawing creation, and manufacturing support.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop wire harnesses and routing layouts
Create 2 D/3 D drawings, BOMs, and installation documentation
Interpret electrical schematics and system diagrams
Ensure designs meet engineering and industry standards
Support design reviews, engineering changes, and production builds
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or related field
3–8 years of wire harness design experience
Proficiency in Auto CAD and Solid Works
Knowledge of connectors, terminals, splices, and routing practices
Experience with manufacturing drawings and BOMs
