About the Role
Elevate vehicle electrical systems as a Wire Harness Design and Release Engineer. Contribute to wiring harness assemblies and ensure design integrity in an onsite role.
This comprehensive engineering position focuses on the end-to-end design, validation, and release of wiring harness assemblies. In this role, you will collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams, ensuring documentation aligns with master models while overseeing change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead creation of 3D models and 2D drawings for harness assemblies
• Ensure part documentation adheres to master models
• Author and validate CCDs, CNs, and IAAs
• Conduct First Piece Sign-Off and support PSO activities
• Manage GIMs entries, including root cause analysis
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 3 years of experience in transportation wiring design
• 4 years of overall engineering experience
