Description
The System Engineer manages and supports enterprise‑level operating systems across Windows and Red Hat Linux environments on both physical and virtual platforms. The role ensures system reliability, security, and compliance with customer requirements, IM8, security policies, and system access controls through proactive maintenance, optimisation, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
Manage servers and virtualisation platforms (e.g. VMware vSphere, Windows, Linux) in accordance with customer requirements, encompassing configuration, provisioning, security hardening, performance monitoring, optimisation, patching, incident management, documentation, and backup/recovery compliance.
Manage and maintain enterprise storage and backup solutions.
