Winding Engine Driver SF

Minimum Qualifications

• Level 4: Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate) and National Cert level 4 GET Certificate Services

Requirements

• NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or Equivalent)
• Valid Winding Engine Certificate issued by the DMR
• Must have driven a winder in the last 2 years as an appointed WED
• Onsetter’s Certificate
• At least 1‑2 years’ experience as a Winding Engine Driver on AC and DC Winders or proof of competency for newly qualified WED
• Medical fit to work in the specific business area
• Clear security screening record
• Valid driver’s licence (if applicable)
