Wind Turbine Generator Engineer – Apex Systems This contractor will review wind turbine designs and assist in streamlining supply chain processes. This is a 12‐month contract with potential to extend or convert to full‐time. Location Primarily remote with up to 25% travel. Responsibilities Apply standard processes/procedures to achieve objectives and goals. Apply sound engineering principles to a broad variety of assignments. Travel to wind sites as often as 5–10 days per month. Respond as needed during off‐hours as the power generation business operates around the clock. Drive‐train, yaw, pitch, hydraulic, and bolted‐joint system mechanical activities. Perform root‐cause analysis for systemic, emerging wind turbine issues and catastrophic events. Develop and deploy RCA countermeasures, reliability improvement countermeasures, and cost‐effective solutions.
