Our client, a wind energy producer, is looking for a Wind Farm Technician.
Operate and maintain electrical substation equipment at wind farms and hydroelectric central power as needed;Replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and control components according to manufacturer specifications;Perform inspections and corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on wind farm;Implement best maintenance practices within the maintenance management system (CMMS);Maintain a record of unplanned production shutdowns in the asset management system;Support operations on an on-call rotation basis;Support operations in the replacement of major components with the manufacturer;Assist and participate in site visits by employees, partners, and the general public.
