Welding, Soldering & Brazing - Randstad

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricating Pantographs (delicate, high-spec rail components).
• Working with various grades and thicknesses of steel, specifically Stainless Steel.
• Must be proficient in TIG (Stainless) and MIG welding.
• All work is subject to external certification. The candidate must be able to weld to AS/NZS 1554.6 (Stainless Steel) standards

What you need

• Must be able to follow Weld Maps strictly. This means understanding codes for weld size, length, material types, and specific wire requirements.
• We need someone who takes genuine pride in their work. The work is delicate - no heavy girders or rough fabrication here.
• Must hold current welding certifications.

The Role

• Monday - Thursday 06.00am - 14.30pm
• Friday 06.0am - 12:00pm (Early finish)
• Overtime available regularly
• Temp to perm opportunity for the right person
