About the Role
Role Definition
The main tasks of this position will be :
- Review of the welding documents from subcontractors
- Technical Support to subcontractors on welding issues
- Preparation of welding documentation for the fabrication of structure and piping on the yard
- Coordination of welding qualifications on the yard
- Technical Support to the teams on the yard on welding issues
- Position will be based in Paris, France with frequent missions to the subcontractors yard in Angola.
Qualification
We are looking for professionals with the following qualifications :
- Welding engineer with IWE or IWT certification
- Knowledge of structural and piping welding codes (AWS D1.1, ASME IX, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.8, NORSOK M101, DNV RP F101,...)
- Experience on fabrication yards
- Able to travel to Africa
