Welder

Responsibilities

• Perform Mig and Tig on welding steel and aluminum sign components
• Fabricate sign structures according to blueprint drawings
• Cut and fit material using saws, shears, brakes, and other shop equipment
• Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Measure, cut, grind, tack weld, and weld steel components
• Applicant must be physically fit as this position requires dexterity and a lot of standing, bending, and lifting

Compensation

Compensation can be based on related skills and experience. $23.70 up to $24.70 plus .25 premium per hour for a valid welding certificate.

Qualifications

• Valid certification in 47.1 and 47.2
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
