Weapons System Program Manager

Summary See below for important information regarding this job. Responsibilities Serves as a senior logistician and program manager in support of major Army, Navy, Air Force or Marine weapon systems. Acts as the primary DLA Program Management Advocate and Principal Point of Contact providing direction for Supply Chain support of weapon system and customer needs and other DLA Defense Supply Centers (DSC). Leads multi-disciplinary Integrated Process Teams consisting of permanent and ad hoc members from DLA, other government entities and industry to develop and implement strategies in support of weapon systems. Organizes and leads assigned matrixed personnel from DLA, Integrated Process Teams (IPTs) and action groups supporting specific programs. Serves as the DLA Program Manager for specific weapon systems and has the responsibility and authority to coordinate across DLA to ensure Enterprise completion of tasks required to support systems and customers.
