Position Overview:
Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the successful candidate will maintain production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a sit down counter balance forklift while maintaining a valid forklift certificationMust be comfortable working outside in the elementsCommunicate with drivers to ensure the accuracy of the load as well as safety requirements for loading/unloading materialsIdentify where product is located in the yard and in the warehouse by utilizing the FIFO system.Load/unload trucksPick and sort stock using a forklift ensuring minimal errorsAssist with inventory counts as requiredGuide truck drivers where they need to go in order to safely loaded/unloadedQualifications:
