What you can expect for this function:• The receiver/stocker’s primary responsibility is to ensure that all incoming deliveries are received and put away correctly and completely each day.
• Accurately complete all quality control procedures and documents as part of the receiving process.
• Complete all receiving documentation.
• Record and report any discrepancies with shipments to supply office.
• Regular and timely attendance is a requirement for this position.
• Perform all duties in the safest manor possible.
• Report potential hazards and unsafe work conditions to team lead, lead hand, or manager.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:
• Perform regular counts of stored materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping/loading dock, warehouse and trash areas.
