Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Central Warehouse. This is a NAF (Non-Appropriated Fund) position assigned to the 31st Force Support Squadron at Aviano AB, Italy. Responsibilities Receives incoming food shipments and verifies accuracy, quality and compliance with public health standards and the tri-service food code. Labels and properly stores food items in designated locations, ensuring proper rotation to maintain freshness. Performs regular inventory counts and reconciles physical stock with system records, promptly addressing any discrepancies. Monitors and manages perishable food items, adhering to first-in-first-out (FIFO) principles to minimize waste. Accurately picks, packs, and prepares food orders based on customer requirements ensuring proper handling and packaging.
