VOL - Planner/Buyer

Overview

New company in Mexicali is looking for a high energy, motivated team member, who is passionate about the procurement profession to fill an immediate opening as Planner/Buyer responsible for:

• Purchase, follow up, and ensure accurate delivery of materials and services.
• Review and react to MRP demand and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels.
• Provide feedback to production on raw material availability and schedule. Expedite or defer as necessary to support production plan.
• Build relationships with suppliers manage them for on-time-delivery (OTD), high quality, and service.
• Process requisitions, place POs, and update management on status of orders.
• Coordinate the importation of international goods into MX under Maquiladora laws and regulations
• Work with teams across US, Europe, and Asia to coordinate and leverage company’s purchases.
