Responsibilities
- Work closely with the supervising veterinarian to gain experience in gathering patient histories
- Perform physical examinations
- Create treatment plans
- Assist with or perform diagnostics
- Provide dentistry services
- Observe, assist, or perform surgical procedures
- Support medical management of patients
- Develop communication skills with the medical team, support staff, and clients
