About the Role
- Oversee VAT-related general ledger accounts, including reconciliations, journal entries, and intercompany postings.
- Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with local regulations across EMEA.
- Monitor transactions and reports to identify discrepancies or compliance risks.
- Support audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Collaborate with the team to improve VAT processes and implement best practices.
- Create training materials and provide guidance to colleagues on VAT matters.
- Assist with preparing reports and documentation to support VAT operations and financial controls.
- Minimum of one year of experience in VAT compliance or VAT advisory, or equivalent accounting experience with a strong focus on VAT.
