Durability Test Engineer – Automotive Validation

Location: Windsor, ON, Canada

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and execute durability tests using MTS real-time hydraulically actuated simulators (RPC Pro & FlexTest).
• Configure and operate data acquisition systems using accelerometers, load cells, strain gauges, and other transducers.
• Perform simulator tuning, troubleshooting, and test system optimization.
• Analyze durability test data and prepare technical reports.
• Conduct daily test inspections and monitor test progress.
• Communicate test results, findings, and recommendations to Product Engineering teams.
• Support durability issue investigations, root cause analysis, and failure analysis activities.
• Coordinate specimen builds, installations, repairs, and teardown activities with mechanics and technicians.
• Participate in test review meetings and provide engineering recommendations.
