Vacuum coating engineer

1. Overall Mirror coating workshop production management, both for Engineering and Production
2. Mirror coating machine process setting for processing of plastics such as PC/PI and PA, to ensure production as per quality and quantity requirements 
3. Develops and set up tinting parameters for machines and auxiliary equipment
4. Create tool set-up parameters sheet and operation instructions
5. Initiate improvement programs and overall productivity including process consistency and efficiency, product quality, production flexibility, lead time and operating costs, using tools like Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma etc.
6. Assigns and trains operators on procedure and work instructions
7. To ensure that the tooling repair/ modification schedule are as per plan
8. Discuss with suppliers for changes or modifications in the accessories
9. Performs trial run and compiling data concerning product or process
10. Carries out other related duties.
