About the Role

About the role
The Vacation Student – Mine Geology role offers an exceptional opportunity to learn and develop skills related to mine geology work including but not limited to grade control, resource definition and/or Discovery activities.
The position will be on a 5/2/4/3 – 9.5hr shifts schedule and will be based residentially in Red Lake, Ontario. 
The compensation range for this role is $29.00-$32.00
Key result areas in this role include:
Monitor material movement using RFID tracking to ensure maximum ore production

Map and communicate geological information, ground conditions and other pertinent geological anomalies.

Collect chip samples where required for geological information and grade control.

Exposure to creating geological interpretations through modelling.

Assist with preparation of diamond drill core for geologic logging and sampling.
