About the Role
Overview
Utility Meter Technician Reader performs semi-skilled manual and semi-technical work involving the installation, maintenance, and reading of water and electric meters used by residential and commercial customers requiring physical labor and the use of hand tools and small powered equipment.
Responsibilities
+ Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, testing, repairing, disconnecting, and reading utility meters
+ Responsible for the upkeep of assigned PPE, tools, equipment, vehicles etc. and is liable to turn in for scheduled maintenance or when identified faulty.
+ Responsible for updating work orders using either a tablet, computer and/or handwritten on paper workorder.
+ Updates included changing the work order status, inputting a log, requesting material and time performance.
+ Performs general housekeeping when working on site.
+ May be required to perform other duties as ass...
