The Utilities Inspector is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and verifying all utilities‑related construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards. The role supports quality assurance, safety compliance, and coordination across multiple utility disciplines within building and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspections of utilities works, including potable water, firefighting networks, stormwater, sewerage, irrigation, and other underground services.
- Monitor excavation, backfilling, pipe laying, compaction, pressure testing, and utilities connections.
- Review and comment on shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents related to utilities systems.
