Underwriter - Property & Engineering

Overview

Ocean Re is looking to hire a Property and Engineering Underwriter, based in Bogotá, responsible for the technical and commercial management of the property and engineering underwriting portfolio for the Latin American market.

The position requires autonomy in underwriting, sound technical judgment, and a clear focus on profitable business development, under a hybrid work arrangement (in-person and remote).

What are we looking for?

As a Property and Engineering Underwriter you will be able to:

• Underwrite and manage the property and engineering portfolio for Latin America.
• Develop and maintain business relationships with reinsurance brokers and regional clients.
• Actively contribute to the profitable growth and technical discipline of the portfolio.
