About the Role

About the role

Reporting to the Processing Manager, the TSF Superintendent is responsible for the safe, efficient and compliant operation of the Tailings Storage Facility (TSF), TSF capital projects, surface operations and site-wide water management.
Key responsibilities:
Implementing and managing a risk-based tailings and water management strategy

Leading surveillance, inspections, TSF monitoring, reporting and governance

Overseeing tailings deposition, embankment construction, QA/QC and contractor performance

Managing budgets, consumables and operational readiness

Providing technical direction to engineers, supervisors and surface operations teams

Ensuring compliance with legislation, design criteria and regulatory frameworks

Collaborating with the Engineer of Record and internal stakeholders on medium and long-term TSF planning
