We're on the lookout for a caring and dedicated Trauma-Informed Learning Assistant to join our brilliant team in Exeter. This full-time role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about helping children who’ve faced tough times to feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. What You’ll Be Doing:
•Supporting students one-to-one and in small groups, helping with both learning and emotional needs
• Creating a calm and nurturing space using trauma-informed approaches
• Helping children build their confidence, manage emotions, and develop social skills
• Working closely with teachers, support staff, and other professionals to put the right support in place
• Helping to plan and deliver tailored lessons and resources
• Keeping track of progress and feeding back to the wider team
