Transportation Project Engineer

A growing and innovative engineering firm is looking to add a Senior Transportation Project Engineer for their Seattle-area team! Responsibilities: Prepare roadway/civil project designs [roadway, trail, sidewalk, erosion control, storm drainage systems (including natural drainage practices), water transmission systems, sewers, earthwork, ADA ramps, pavement overlays, traffic signal systems, illumination, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), channelization, signing, traffic control and maintenance of traffic] Review construction plans, design calculations, and specifications Coordinate projects with clients, utility companies, and government agencies Prepare project plans, specifications, report, quantity takeoffs and cost estimates Work closely with other disciplines, other team members, and professionals Mentor/train junior staff Prepare plans/roadway modeling using AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or MicroStation/OpenRoads Maintain records, prepare reports/correspondence and other administr...
