About the Role

Summary You will serve as a TRANSPORTATION PROJECT COORDINATOR (Cranes) in the HR WHE PROGRAM DIV-OPS & MAINT BR of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC. Responsibilities You will provide response for crane, rigging and associated transportation support services as requested by ships or any command. You will determine type of equipment needed using basic characteristics to match job requirements and determines lifting requirements on a specific job You will coordinates all crane, rigging and associated transportation support services You will work with Base police and dockmasters concerning pier congestion to ensure unimpeded completion of scheduled work. You will provide advisory services to Commander, Port Operations and attends berthing conferences to discuss crane request and availability.
