Menzies Distribution Solutions are currently looking for an experienced Transport Operator to join our busy team based in Corby. The purpose of this role is to be responsible for managing and executing the Day 1 Plan ensuring all work is distributed whilst complying with Transport Legislation, Health & Safety and customer service requirements. You will ensure that the drivers deliver the customer’s products on time and in full using the most cost‑effective means possible and best use of available resources and ensuring Transport Planner is aware of any need to manipulate the plan. You will be responsible for Tracking and Tracing all runs live to ensure that once dispatched the drivers arrive at the customer premises within the agreed time windows, and managing any day 1 for 1 issues / delays accordingly.
