Transition House Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision, and support to shelter staff
• Ensure consistent delivery of trauma-informed, client-centered services to women and children
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the transition house, including safety, maintenance, and overall functioning
• Case Management-Support staff in crisis intervention, safety planning, and responding to complex situations
• Develop, implement, and uphold policies and procedures aligned with sector standards and organizational values
• Foster a respectful, inclusive, and culturally safe environment for residents and staff
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training and development of staff
• Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and adherence to confidentiality requirements
• Respond to critical incidents and provide leadership during emergencies
