Traffic Engineer

Public Sector People are partnering with a Sydney based government organisation to recruit for Traffic Engineer.
  
Contract: 3 months contracts | Immediate Start
Salary: $60 - $70 p/h + Super
  
Responsibilities: 

• Conduct traffic impact assessments for development applications, rezoning proposals and infrastructure projects.
• Develop and review designs for signs, line-marking, traffic calming devices, pedestrian crossings, bicycle facilities, and intersection upgrades.
• Analyse traffic flow, parking demand, pedestrian activity, and public transport integration to ensure compliance with NSW planning and transport standards.

Essential:

• Minimum 12 months experience in Traffic Engineer position in local government.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
