Traffic Engineer

Aspect Personnel are working with a council in Melbourne's South Eastern Suburbs to recruit an experienced Traffic Engineer for a 3 month contract.

You will be primarily responsible for reviewing and responding to planning referrals, assessing TMPs, responding to and investigating resident enquiries as well as supporting the delivery of traffic and transport projects.

Employed as a Traffic Engineer, you will also be responsible for:

• Providing engineering recommendations to traffic, parking, road safety & public transport issues impacting the Council
• The development and review of traffic management plans 
• Traffic investigations and site inspections
• Assessing planning applications
• Responding to enquiries from local residents and clients.
• Identifying & providing recommendations on accident blackspots
• Customer service
