About the Role
Eaton’s AER FED Fluid Electrical Distribution division is currently seeking a Tooling Engineer.
**What you’ll do**:
**Primary Function**:
The Tooling Engineer is responsible for Tooling Design and fabrication support Tijuana Manufacturing Operations. Follows the Design and manufacturing Guidelines pertaining to the design, fabrication, inspection, and control of 2D & 3D Fixtures, mylars and tools.
Supports new product introduction and/or production.
The position drives continuous improvement while utilizing the framework of the Eaton Business System (EBS) and the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF).
**Essential Functions**:
- Design 3D Tooling based on model and or drawing information. For Assembly, Trimming and Inspection tools including 2D mylars in support of Manufacturing.
- Gather tooling requirements from manufacturing engineering and product drawings/specifications.
