About the Role
We are a leading manufacturer of deep-drawn and heavy-gauge stamping products serving the heavy-duty truck, off-road construction, marine, and aerospace industries. We are looking for an experienced Tooling Engineer to drive tooling design, process improvement, and manufacturing excellence across our operations. Plastics experience is a must.
Key Responsibilities• Lead tooling and fixture design for deep-draw and heavy-gauge stamping processes.• Coordinate cross-functionally to support production, troubleshoot field issues, and ensure projects meet cost, quality, and timing targets.• Develop new tooling concepts and enhance existing manufacturing processes for improved safety, quality, and efficiency.• Support APQP activities including PFMEA, control plans, and work instructions.• Participate in CI and Lean events to optimize tooling performance and reduce waste.
