We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Field Service team. You will be responsible for the design and delivery of custom field service equipment that enables safe and efficient servicing of the iron-air battery product in the field. Your work will include electro-mechanical system design, prototyping, and integration of large field service tools for harsh outdoor environments.
Responsibilities

+ Design material handling equipment for lifting, moving, and servicing modules and components in the field.

+ Perform hands-on prototyping of designs and collaborate with teams to build integrated units.

+ Work with vendors and field service engineers to transition designs from prototype to a weatherized field service tool.

+ Perform testing, hand calculations, and FEA to inform specifications and future design direction.
