Tool Crib Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect cutting tools for wear, defects, and damage using tool presetter equipment
• Track, issue, and receive tools; maintain accurate tool inventory in the database
• Monitor tools sent for production, repair, or calibration
• Perform minor maintenance, basic repairs, and sanding by hand or with pneumatic tools for more troublesome deformities
• Liaise with tooling suppliers and purchasing to ensure tool availability
• Maintain 5S standards and proper housekeeping

Requirements

• Knowledge of cutting tools (manufacturing environment preferred)
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Team player with good communication skills
• Provide overtime support (weekdays & weekend) if required
