About the Role
Work with Thales in Halifax, Nova Scotia, as a Technical Specialist - Electrical. This hybrid role supports the Royal Canadian Navy's technical needs in marine electrical systems.
As a member of the AJISS Coastal Support team, you'll be instrumental in resolving electrical issues for Navy vessels, including Arctic and Offshore Patrol Ships. Your role includes conducting investigations, developing work instructions, and working alongside service providers to enhance operational efficiency. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute investigations on board the ships
• Liaise with service providers for defect management
• Create Work Instructions and Statements of Work
• Suggest improvements within Technical Document Package
• Support electrical systems operation and maintenance
Requirements:
• 3-year diploma in an electrical discipline
• Canadian Red Seal or Military QL5 certification
