TFW Coordinator

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this position will provide a wide range of support to the Temporary Foreign Workers at Hendriks Greenhouses. Hours may vary and a high degree of flexibility is required.

Job duties

• Assist HR with Temporary Foreign Worker employee onboarding and training.
• Conduct ongoing wellness checks with workers. Work with Human Resources to address any concerns or issues that may arise.
• Conduct regular housing inspections and work with the Maintenance Department to address issues.
• Provide support to Temporary Foreign Workers for various issues. This includes transportation to and from medical appointments, banking, airport and shopping trips.
• Provide translation support for workers.
• Work with the Human Resources Department to update TFW records.
• Work with the Human Resources Department to facilitate improvements to the program.
