A global organisation that provides sell-designed medical devices is seeking a Sydney-based Textile Innovation Engineer within its Textile Centre of Excellence.
Core Responsibilities
You will work alongside a small global team to develop and engineer soft components that integrate seamlessly into advanced hardware systems and meet the highest standards of comfort, quality, and performance.
Product Design & Innovation
Engineer and prototype innovative textile-integrated components.
Translate user and design requirements into technically robust softgoods constructions.
Evaluate materials, joining technologies and textile architectures.
Lead feasibility studies and structured testing of new concepts.
Contribute to intellectual property development where relevant.
Integration & Technical Development
