About the Role
Program Test Lead, Mainframe Upgrade – Quality Engineering
· Must Have
o At least 12+ years of work experience in Quality Engineering (Testing) in IT
o Canadian Banking domain experience
o Leading and managing testing large scale, complex Mainframe applications and migration / upgrade projects
o Coordinating with Product, Infrastructure, Technical teams, Stakeholders, Executives, etc.
o Working in a matrix organization
o Stakeholder management across multiple areas such as Business, Infrastructure, Network, IT Custodians, Development, etc.
· Required Skills
o In-depth knowledge in testing Mainframe related applications using Cobol, DB2, SQL, JCL, VSAM, LPAR, CICS, Job schedulers such as Control-D/M, CA7; Banking applications
o Experience in testing various Mainframe application screens
o Experience in strategizing Mainframe (hardware) upgrade and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) testing
