About the Role
Futures recruitment are working with a well-established electrical engineering business to recruit an experienced Test Engineer to join their technical team. This is a hands-on role combining in-house testing with occasional site-based work.
Role & Responsibilities:
Perform detailed fault-finding, repair and troubleshooting activities
Complete protection modifications in line with technical specifications
Support on-site testing and commissioning activities when required
Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and internal quality standards
Carry out in-house testing of marshalling enclosures, control panels, LV cabinets and associated control devices
Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and complete relevant risk assessments
Work collaboratively with engineering and operations teams
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
