Temporary Support Staff

TEMPORARY SUPPORT STAFF The Greater Essex County District School Board invites application packages from persons qualified for the position of Temporary Support Staff. Responsibilities: Must be available for day-to-day casual replacement and long-term assignments at various school locations throughout the City of Windsor and Essex County. Support teacher(s) with the preparation of learning materials necessary to assist identified students. Ensure the safety and supervision of students by using proper lifting techniques. Implement Behaviour Management Systems (BMS) in compliance with Board Policy and training. Provide supervision of identified students in and around the school. Support and ensure the dignity of students with their personal needs. Demonstrate a commitment to and documented success in working to create a fair, inclusive, anti-racist environment for all stakeholders, and to supporting diverse constituencies and populations.
