About the Role
Join our Halifax office as a temporary Controller covering maternity leave. This detail-oriented role focuses on managing financial operations and reports directly to the President/Owner.
We are seeking an experienced Controller for a 14-month term, starting August 4, 2026. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and a CPA designation, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience. You will manage full cycle accounting and prepare detailed financial reports, budgeting, and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee full cycle accounting tasks, including invoicing and payroll
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial performance reports
• Maintain budgets and provide variance analysis as needed
• Manage cash requirements and address foreseeable issues
• Review and manage tax documentation for compliance
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA designation
