About the Role

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for:

  • The management and continuous improvement of Yarrabee’s Mine Planning team

  • Short to long term mine planning

  • Coal geology and reconciliation

  • Geotechnical, survey, and production scheduling

  • Forecasts

  • Manage production reporting, financial forecasting, and budgeting specific to the Mine Planning application.

    • Skills and Experience


    Skills

  • Highly developed verbal & written communication skills

  • Strong commercial acumen, sound financial management & budgeting skills

  • Skilled in hazard identification & responsive to safety issues

  • Competent on full range of Microsoft programs


    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering Qualifications in Mining Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification
