Technical Service Engineer (IoT System)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for installing new sensors/devices and testing them to ensure they work correctly.
• Perform testing on IoT device features and detect any problems and anomalies.
• Perform troubleshooting on the device’s hardware components such as PCB circuits and its firmware/software to detect problems.
• Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them. Order parts for repairs if needed.
• Perform data communication monitoring, and configuration of servers, networks, and equipment.
• Perform device maintenance, and calibration procedures as well as provide customer support.
• Fill out detailed reports and keep records on the job/services performed.
• Educate the client on how to use and maintain their devices.
• Explain issues with devices/sensors/equipment and repairs to customers.
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers.
