Technical safety

Responsibilities

• Manage Functional Safety Engineering (FSA) and Safety Integrity Level (SIL) analyses.
• Conduct area classification assessments.
• Oversee Fire and Gas (F&G) and Emergency Shut Down (ESD) systems.
• Design and assess escape routes, evacuation means, and passive/active fire protection (PFP).
• Perform working environment analyses, including WHERA, chemical risk, and human factors.
• Handle external environment tasks such as BAT assessments, environmental budgets, and emissions calculations.

Required expertise

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or technical field.
• Work experience from the Oil & Gas industry on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).
• Experience with FEED and early-phase study projects is highly preferred.
