Technical Product Director – Liability

This role is responsible for integrating the Intact Insurance Europe business with respect to technical underwriting matters within the respective line of business. The position involves influencing the business and supporting portfolio outperformance through technical leadership, governance, and strategic decision‑making.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the business to ensure sound and successful execution of the respective business strategy.
• Demonstrate strong product‑management oversight by ensuring adequate execution of underwriting governance frameworks and controls.
• Collaborate with Pricing & Portfolio Management teams to ensure KPIs are effective and executed at all times.
• Ensure technical excellence standards (Underwriting capabilities, licensing, pricing, wording, reinsurance, risk management, exposures accumulation) are met by the business.
